John Deere 5045 Clutch Problems Problems

John Deere 5045 Clutch Problems.

My John Deer tractor with hydraulic electronic clutch system is difficult to change running with the engine running. Any idea what the problem can be?

The transmission / hydraulic oil must be replaced in accordance with the recommendations. Depending on the temperature range of the expected air during the drain interval, use the viscosity of the oil shown in the adjacent temperature table.

The transmission oil / hydraulic oil is recommended John Deere HY-GARD®. The Hy-Gardo oil is specially formulated to minimize the rattle of the brakes in wet and to provide maximum protection against mechanical wear, corrosion and foam formation.

Other oils can be used if they comply with the John Deere JDM J20C or J20D standard.

Oils that comply with the military specification MIL-L-46167A can be used as arctic oils for temperatures below -40°C (-40°F).

For operation below -25°C (-13°F), the use of J20D oil is required to protect the hydraulic system. Be sure to drain and fill the system with a normal viscosity oil at the temperature indicated in the table. The steering circuit should be drained when the oil is changed to prevent oils from different viscosities from mixing. I hope this information is useful.
